In order to showcase the quality, innovation and safety standards of Spanish fruit production, Foods and Wines from Spain will organize the Spanish Fruit Week (1st-7th October 2020), in close cooperation with Pagoda. Pagoda is the largest and most important fruit retailer in Southern China, with more than 4000 stores in the region.

Guangdong province plays an essential role in imported food negotiation, distribution and consumption in China, as it is the entry point to 70% of Chinese fruit imports and the largest consumer market in the country. 

Spain, on the other hand, is the largest European supplier of fruits to China and a world-class reference in fruit production, thanks to our state of the art production and transportation techniques, the great variety of our products and our top level safety and security standards.

Due to the fruit production calendar, the Spanish Fruit Week will focus on Spanish plum on this occasion, showcasing the sophisticated consumers of the city of Guangzhou the benefits, healthiness and superb taste of our plums, for them to discover and enjoy during one of the most important Chinese festivities.
