EXHIBITION
Spirits of Spain 2022 will once again bring together a great variety of the country’s beverage, such as wine, sparkling wine, beer, vermouth, and other alcoholic beverages to show all its power and potential to contribute to the revitalization of the sector. This event has been organized with the support of the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) since 2015.
This event will showcase a wide selection of wines and other alcoholic beverages from Spain in Ghana (over 70 different products) with the collaboration of 3 Ghanaian importers and 8 Spanish wineries and other beverage producers. The Exhibition will be a meeting point for local professionals from the beverage sector: importers, distributors, food and hospitality companies and prescribers.

TASTING & SEMINAR
David Barr, a professional from the hospitality sector will present two tastings, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, to explain to the attendees the characteristics of the Spanish wines and/or drinks represented at the event.

Mr. Miguel Casero, Head of the Economic and Commercial Office stands out the importance of the wine sector in Spain, the world’s third-largest wine-producing country. Spain also has the largest vineyard area in the world and is the world's largest exporter in terms of volume.
DAVID BARR - WINE EXPERT
Born in Accra, Ghana in 1993. He was fully exposed to the sights and boisterous sounds that have long characterized the Osu area, where he grew up. David is an experienced bar manager with over seven years of experience in the hospitality sector. He is the director of BartendersGuild Ghana (BGG) Training, a non-governmental organization dedicated to acting as a networking platform and educating its members about best practices, professional ethics, key elements, wines, beers, spirits and cocktails in service delivery, plus new and upcoming trends in relevant industries. In relation with the alcoholic beverage sector, David has organized several tastings and seminars. Currently, he is the Bar Manager at Front Back (OSU).
