The specialized Intervinos Guide highlights Spanish wines with photos of their labels, the winery and vineyards where they’re made, and awards received.
It's official: The first guide to Spanish wine in Chinese has been published by Intervinos. The new Intervinos Guide will indubitably help increase the visibility of Spanish wines in this important market, the goal being to reach as many of the almost 1.4 billion consumers as possible.
Intervinos is the largest online store for Spanish wines, offering over 1,200 different wines from Designations of Origin across the country.
The newly-created Chinese edition features wines with photos of their labels, the wineries and vineyards from which they come, and the various distinctions received by each wine from both Spanish and international competitions.
China is a very important market where Spanish gastronomy and products are increasingly popular and prestigious, and wine is among the leading products. In terms of numbers, it's worth noting that, in the first half of 2020, wine from Spain was the fourth-most imported wine in China and the second-most imported in the sparkling wine segment, surpassing powerhouses like France.
Intervinos made waves about four years ago when it published the first guide in Russian, and it remains the only specialized publication on wines from Spain in that language to date. The guide is also available in English, Spanish and German.
