Demand for dealcoholized wine is growing, and Spanish winery UVESTE is listening to consumers. Based in Requena, this innovative company is one of the leading organic cava brands in Spain and it expects a 60% increase in dealcoholized wine production compared with the previous year.

In 2022, it has plans to dealcoholize 1.6 million liters of wine to meet demand. UVESTE recently purchased the rights to run Desalcro, a company specialized in dealcoholization, a move that aligns with its goal of increasing its offer for consumers. UVESTE is using the latest technology to remove alcohol from its wine while allowing it to maintain its aromas.
