He’s originally from Jerez and has worked almost exclusively in international wine trade and ecommerce. He held leadership positions at the González Byass and Sandeman wineries, and he joined the DO Jerez-Xeres-Sherry, Manzanilla-Sanlucar de Barrameda, and Vinagre de Jerez regulatory council in 2000, where he has been its director general and is currently president.
