Wine Tastings and Culinary Workshop
Throughout the day, attendees can look forward to sampling 300+ new releases of wine, artisan cocktails, craft beers, producer tastings of cheeses, cured meats, lamb, escargots, olives, almonds and more. Events include:
- Chef and Master Sommelier-led culinary & wine seminars
- Master Sommelier-led mini wine varietal flights
- "Discovery Zone" (new-to-market Spanish companies)
- Live cooking demos
- Mixologist-led Artisan Cocktail bar showcasing Spanish Sangría, Carajillo, among others
- Walk-around food and wine tastings featuring delicacies and Spain’s culinary icons:
- Spanish Jamón Serrano and cheeses
- Croquetas de Pollo – Crispy chicken and béchamel fritters
- Empanadas – Spanish tuna, spinach and pork savory pies
- Pulpo a la Gallega - Spanish octopus with mashed potatoes, extra virgin olive oil and smoked pimentón
- Gazpacho with Spanish sherry and EVOO
- Patatas Bravas– Spicy Spanish potatoes with salsa brava and EVOO aioli
- Tortilla de Patatas - Spanish tortilla with eggs, confit potatoes and caramelized onions.

Spain’s Great Match 2024 Schedule
Spain's Great Match: 30th anniversary in New York will feature robust importer/winery portfolio stations, regional tours, educational seminars, ‘Discovery Zone’ brands, and food and wine pairing challenges. Learn about the most important and lesser-known exciting Spanish grape varieties and regions while tasting your way through Spain or by attending one or more of the seminars and mini-seminars.
