Tapas and rice fans in Maryland, USA are in for a tasty treat: Chef George Rodrigues, who originally hails from Brazil but it is a true master of tapas, just opened up a new locale called El Mercat Bar De Tapas. Rodrigues is something of a legend on Rockville’s dining scene and boasts an impressive track record that includes the role of chef de cuisine at Boqueria, in Washington, DC's Penn Quarter neighborhood.
Tickets cost $75 per person and include an extensive menu with vegetables, meat, and seafood tapas as well as paella, dessert, and red or white wine or sangria.
