Seafood Expo Global Bringing International Industry Professionals Together

Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global is officially underway in Barcelona, and will run from April 25^th to the 27^th. This year’s conference will include over 20 educational sessions led by some of the seafood industry’s leading experts. Attendees are expected to learn about many important sector issues at the engaging and informative sessions. The topics being covered include traceability and transparency, aquaculture, CSR, food safety and compliance, seafood sustainability, and plastics and climate change, among others.

Last year, this global seafood marketplace welcomed +26,000 professionals from over 150 countries, and this year’s conference is expected to be even more successful.

As the largest seafood event in the world, this expo caters specifically to industry buyers and professionals from every part of the supply chain. Suppliers from 77 countries representing nearly every kind of seafood product are participating and taking advantage of the opportunity to network, generate sales leads, and meet with attendees and other industry professionals.

The Expo will also include the Seafood Excellence Global Awards, which will recognize the very best seafood products of the year. There will be grand prizes announced for best retail product and the best hotel/restaurants/catering (HORECA) product, while special awards will be announced in categories such as innovation, convenience, health and nutrition, and retail packaging.
