2nd Edition of AquaFuture Spain Slated for March 2023 in Santiago de Compostela

The goal of this event is to share expertise and innovation within the sector while also highlighting its potential and quality

AquaFuture Spain, a conference that dives deep into cutting-edge fishing tech, is slated to return in 2023. The goal is to promote innovation and the transfer of knowledge and share strategies within the industry. This international meeting space will also showcase the sector’s quality, potential, and talent.

As Spain is a leader in aquaculture in Europe, it makes perfect sense for this event to be held there. The conference will be held from March 28th to the 30th at the Feria Internacional de Galicia, which is close to Santiago de Compostela. This will be the second edition of this event.

At the moment, there are 145 companies expected to participate, coming from 25 countries around the world. A simultaneous Spanish-English translation will be available for attendees and the event will also be live-streamed.

Innovation and challenges in the market, sustainable aquaculture, and water quality are some of the topics that will be addressed during the 6 technical roundtable discussions. The event’s program will also include 6 cooking demos using seafood, featuring everything from trout and mussels to clams and seaweed. Attendees will be able to sample a wide variety of products. There will also be 25 presentations from exhibiting companies.

The Exe Peregrino Hotel, also in Santiago de Compostela, will host a cocktail hour and dinner specifically for representatives of institutions and exhibitors.
