Two Spanish products received sofi Awards, which recognize the very best speciality foods from around the world for over five decades. The first is Castillo de Canena Amontillado Sherry Casked olive oil. This oil, which is made from Arbequina olives in Amontillado sherry wine barrels, received a gold distinction.
The other is Smoky Paprika potato chips by Sal de Ibiza, made with pimentón de La Vera and fleur de sel. This gourmet snack is irresistible and has an intense and delicious flavor. It also took home a gold award.
The Specialty Food Association's sofi Awards have been honoring the best in specialty food for over 50 years. Receiving a coveted sofi Award provides brands with significant exposure among distributors, foodservice companies, supermarkets, and specialty retailers, opening up the brands and products to business opportunities as well as global recognition.
The winners are chosen after a rigorous process where food experts, buyers, journalists, and influencers assess products in 49 different categories, including texture, aroma, innovation, and ingredient quality.
