Hundred Burgers, with restaurants in Valencia and Madrid, Takes Top Honors with a Dry-Aged Beef Burger
Spanish gastronomy has done it again! Another competition, another first place ranking. The World’s Best Burgers, which is organized by the world’s leading burger experts, Burgerdudes, has proclaimed a winner: Spanish restaurant Hundred Burgers, with locales in Madrid and Valencia.
This artisanal burger chain’s signature burgers are made with 60-day dry aged Rubia Gallega beef, and Paul Finch burgers with 120-day dry aged beef.
Rubia Gallega is a native breed of cattle in Galicia, northern Spain, known for their ultra tender meat and depth of flavor. The beef is harvested when the cattle is between 10 and 12 months old and weighing up to 1400 pounds. When this breed is aged on the hoof, it is considered as more desirable and premium. When the meat is dry aged, it acquires a delicious concentration of succulent flavors and a buttery taste with undertones of meadows.
Says Burgerdudes, “Hundred Burgers are hyper-focused on craftsmanship and are constantly evolving. We are incredibly impressed by their accurate flavors and innovation, and can without a doubt say that they serve the best burgers in the world. Book your trip to Madrid or Valencia immediately!” Other Spanish restaurants to make the ranking include Soul Coffee Beer, in Valencia, which made their hamburgers from with dry-aged beef from Galicia and Asturias, as they state in the Instagram account. (10th place); and Briochef, in Madrid, in 14th place, working also with dry-aged beef from Galicia.
