Fenavin, one of Spain's leading wine fairs, will be held from May 10th to the 12th. With more than 28,000 square meters of exhibition space throughout 8 pavilions, and almost 2,000 exhibitors, this year's event will help reinforce the event as one of the best and biggest fairs of its kind in Spain. More than 17,600 national and international buyers will be on hand to network, learn, and take advantage of everything Fenavin has to offer. ICEX and MAPA (Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food) are helping with the organization of this major fair and are also coordinating the buyers’ program.
The program of activities is packed with a wide range of experiences, from tasting sessions and pairings to lectures and discussions. Topics that will be covered include wine communication, obstacles and opportunities for Spanish wine in Germany, the digital transformation of wineries, investing in the winemaking sector, wine tourism, and sustainability in the industry.
Pedro Ballesteros MW will talk about Monastrell, mixology wine will be discussed by representatives from bartending associations, and there will be a guided tasting of wines from Montilla-Moriles DO, Marqués de Griñón, and Pago Vallegarcía. There will be a living painting session using red must and wine photography awards will be presented. The Wine Gallery will display Spain's wealth of wines and showcase the countries very best wineries.
Fenavin offers professionals many opportunities at the fair to network, set up meetings with national and international buyers, learn about new trends and products, and leverage business opportunities.
