Polish Sommelier Championship

Foods&Wines from Spain will be a partner of the Polish Sommelier Championship, held on July 10, 2021 in Warsaw. 18 competitors, the best sommeliers from restaurants all over Poland, will compete for the title of Master. The competition is organized by the Association of Polish Sommeliers, with 250 members already.

On that occasion the Spanish Embassy in Warsaw and Foods&Wines from Spain cordially invite you to the commented tasting titled “235 Spanish grape varieties”.
The tasting will take place at 12.30PM during the Polish Sommelier Championship on 10/07/2021. Warsaw, Hotel Regent, ul. Belwederska 23.
Spanish endemic grape varieties will be the theme of the tasting. You will have the chance to taste wines made out of interesting and less known grapes as well as famous and known, but produced in a non-obvious way. We will present Tempranillo aged in whiskey barrels and a Fondillon-style Monastrell from 1972 solera!
