The Embassy of the Spain in Warsaw together with the Foods & Wines from Spain brand organizes tastings of wines and food products from Spain with the aim to present them to the Polish audience, in particular to representatives of the horeca industry, sommeliers, gastronomy, wine and culinary journalists, bloggers, catering schools and professionals.
The aim of the tasting is to present the culinary richness of Spain and Spanish typical products made by artisanal methods. There are over 200 DOP in Spain confirmed by a European certificate and they are cheese, ham, cold cuts, olive oil, bread, saffron, vegetables (garlic, artichokes, asparagus, peppers, legumes) and sweets (marzipan, turrón, ensaimada). Equally rich is the range of Spanish wines, organized in 70 wine appellations and 235 different grapes varieties, more of the half of them endemically Spanish.
The seminars and tastings planned for the 2022 are:
