Martin Skeltonis the current Managing Director of Casa Pedro Domecq in Mexico. Of British origin, he took on the role in 2021 after an outstanding 17-year career leading the UK subsidiary of González Byass, where he gained solid experience in the wines and spirits sector and in international market development.

 

 Casa Pedro Domecq is a leading company in the brandy category in Mexico, particularly withits flagship brand Presidente. In addition to its strong positioning in the domestic market, the company plays a key role as an importer, representing a portfolio of internationally renowned brands, including those of its partners such as Bodegas Fundador and González Byass, thereby strengthening its presence in the premium beverages segment.

 

Andrés Amor

Andrés Amor holds a degree in Gastronomy with a specialization in World Culinary Arts and has a strong international background in the wine sector. He trained as a sommelier at the Mexican Wine Academy, completed a specialization in “Wine Marketing in Restaurants” at the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, and holds WSET Level III certifications in both wines and spirits.

 

He currently works as a restaurant consultant, having developed more than 60 wine lists, and serves as an international judge at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. He is also a member of the voting council for the México Gastronómico Guide, has been recognized for six consecutive years as one of the 25 most influential figures in wine in Mexico by Líderes Mexicanos magazine, and is the ambassador in Mexico for the Rías Baixas Designation of Origin.

 

Borja Ferrero

Borja Ferrero is a chef and executive with a background in Business Management from the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and advanced culinary training from the Madrid School of Hospitality. He began his professional career in Spain, working in
renowned restaurants such as La Leyenda, Diez y Medio, DiverXO, and Grupo Paraguas, where he built a strong foundation in haute cuisine.

 

In Mexico, he has played a key role in the gastronomic development of Grupo Carolo, initially as an opening chef and later as Executive Chef and Group Director. He also served as Director of Food and Beverage at Hotel Presidente and currently holds the position of Director of Operations at Grupo Carolo, where he leads the group’s culinary strategy and execution.

 

Elisa Patrón

Elisa Patrón holds a degree in International Commercial Relations and a Master’s in International Business, with over 15 years of experience in areas such as procurement, international projects, logistics, leadership, and new business development. She stands out for her negotiation skills with both domestic and international suppliers, as well as for optimizing costs and logistics timelines.

 

She has developed deep expertise in the gourmet sector over the past 10 years. She currently serves as Commercial Strategy Manager at Hanseatik S.A. de C.V., a company dedicated to the import and commercialization of high-end gourmet products from 21 countries.

 

Octavio Fuentes

Octavio Fuentes Zendejas is Commercial Director at Grupo Herdez, with 27 years of experience in the processed food industry. He is responsible for sales management, commercial strategy development, and budgeting across multiple channels, including modern retail, traditional wholesale, price clubs, and convenience stores. 

 

He holds a degree in Tourism Business Administration and began his career in the hospitality and restaurant sectors, which provided him with a well-rounded understanding of the market. His extensive experience positions him as a key figure in commercial development and channel management within Mexico’s food industry. 

 

Jorge Eduardo O’Cádiz

Jorge Eduardo O’Cádiz Salazar holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics and an MBA from IPADE Business School. With more than 30 years of experience in Mexico’s retail and supermarket industry, he has specialized in purchasing, supply chain management, and commercial operations, developing a strong strategic vision of the consumer market. 

 

Throughout his career, he has held several senior executive positions at Comercial Mexicana, leading key areas such as perishables, grocery purchasing, and overall procurement management. He later joined HEB as Director of Perishables Purchasing and currently serves at Grupo La Comer as General Director of Purchasing and Supply, overseeing sourcing, negotiation, and commercial development strategies.
