SPAIN FUSION GERMANY: Experience Spain's Gastronomic Diversity

On 13 and 14 November, from 12 noon to 6 pm, 2 days of exciting tastings and training seminars, master classes and demonstrations on various Spanish gastronomic products and their preparation techniques await you.

Look forward to a hands-on training and exhibition platform to experience and taste Iberian hams and cured meats, Spanish cheese specialities, extra virgin olive oil, canned fish and vegetables, caviar, truffles, sherry vinegar as well as wines, cavas, craft beer, sidra, vermouth and other spirit specialities in the seminars, tastings and demonstrations at the hands of top-class experts.

Among others, the Master of Wine Andreas Kubach & Fernando Mora, Yvonne Heistermann, specialist for sherry vinegar, Kerstin Barduhn, expert for extra virgin olive oil, and Marta Palacios, owner of one of the best specialist shops for Spanish cheese in Berlin, who will be accompanied by a producer of Idiazábal cheese.

In addition, renowned chefs Andreas Krolik (Rest. Lafleur**, Germany), Fina Puigdeval (Rest. Les Cols**, Spain), Nacho Manzano (Rest. Casa Marcial**, Spain), Juanlu Fernández (Rest. Lú Cocina y Alma*, Spain) and Rodrigo de la Calle (Rest. El Invernadero*, Spain), among others, will participate and provide visitors with profound product knowledge through various preparation and processing techniques.

The chefs of the twelve Restaurants from Spain in Germany that have been awarded the seal of quality will also be present. They will present authentic Spanish cuisine and products in the seminars, at their own Restaurants from Spain-Foodcorner and at the information desk. The Restaurants from Spain seal of approval was launched by ICEX/FWFS and stands for recognised authentic Spanish quality cuisine worldwide. So far, more than 339 restaurants in 40 countries have been awarded the label (as of July 2023). Restaurants must apply independently for this certification. Restaurants are selected by a committee of gastronomic and industry institutions and must renew annually. You can find more information HERE.
