Foods and Wines from Spain is thrilled to return to Chicago to host Spain’s Great Match!

Join us at the 29th Annual Event, organized by the Trade Commission of Spain, as Spanish flavors take center stage at one of the liveliest celebrations of Spanish wines and spirits and Spain's rich gastronomy heritage! Join us for a lively, action-packed afternoon devoted to Spanish wine and culinary seminars, regional spotlights, and food-and-wine pairing challenges. Educationally rich programming is presented by a team of Master Sommeliers and culinary experts; seminars include a deep-dive into the wines of the northern region of Navarra, a look at the captivating wines and delicacies of Murcia in southeastern Spain, and the culturally rich offerings of Castilla y Leon in the northwest.

Wine Tastings and Culinary Workshop

Along the way, attendees can look forward to sampling 150+ new vintages from some of the country’s leading wineries with producer tastings of premium mono-varietals and blends, a selection of cheeses and cured meats from Spain, and more.

Activities include:

• Walk-around wine and food tastings, including gastronomy-driven tapas, Jamón Ibérico, cheese from Spain, and more
• Chef and Master Sommelier-led culinary & wine seminars

Fittingly, catering and chef demonstrations by the buzzy and inventive Bar Mar by José Andrés, featuring modern takes on classics you know and love– menu highlights to include:
