Throughout the afternoon, a duo of wine experts will take it in turns to conduct 20-minute tastings, each focused on introducing you to a signature Spanish grape variety. Whether it remains just a quick sip or turns into a lasting love affair, don’t miss this opportunity to become acquainted with some of Spain’s finest! Timing is everything -- these sessions are first-come, first-served.

Evan Goldstein MS, President & Chief Education Officer - Full Circle Wine Solutions and Master the WorldEvan is one of the nation’s most prolific food and wine industry veterans. In 1987, he became the eighth American to pass the Master Sommelier examination. The author of several critically acclaimed books on food, wine and hospitality, Evan has created wine education and service programs for Seagram Chateau & Estates, Diageo, Allied Domecq and Beam Wine Estates. He is currently President and Chief Education Officer of Full Circle Wine Solutions and Master the World.

Master Sommelier Jim Bube Board member and treasurer of Second City Sommeliers Tasting group in Chicago, Jim is a Master Sommelier and National Wine Director for the Hogsalt restaurant group.  Jim was a harvest intern at Argyle winery for the 2020 vintage.  He was the 2016 National TopSomm second place finisher and 2017 Guildsomm Online Competition winner.  Jim focuses heavily on mentorship in the Chicago wine community when not cooking or trying to make the perfect canelé.

Miranda Elliot 

Elliot Wine School was founded by Miranda Elliot, an Advanced Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and WSET Level 3 certified wine professional. She also holds Certified Sake Sommelier and Certified Sake Educator certification through the Sake Sommelier Association, WSET Sake Level 1 Certification, WSET Spirits Level 2 Certification, and is a Certified Beer Server. Miranda started her wine career on the restaurant side as a sommelier working at some of the best restaurants in Chicago, including Moto, Les Nomades, Maple & Ash, Oceanique, and Del Frisco’s. Later, she moved into wine distribution and education as Education Director for Connoisseur Wines and Illinois Sales Manager for Martine’s Wines. She is passionate about making wine fun and accessible for a wider audience.
