After presenting the work and hypothesis that were discussed in interviews and meetings, the members of the Advisory Council will present their conclusions about the representativeness of Spanish products.

Introduction of the pig market by an Advisory Council Member. The pig is the most exported agrifood product into China and the Spanish Pantry is rich in pig products

A guided tasting of ham that is the iconic Spanish product from the pig by ASICI

10:30am – The healthy Mediterranean Pantry: Products of the olive

Introduction of the olive oil and table olives market by an Advisory Council Member

Olive oil will be presented explaining the excellency of the product so that the attendants can distinguish the product at its fullest.

An interactive explanation of olives variety by the “Olives from Spain campaign” (ICEX and Interaceituna)

11:15am – Wine and spirits ‘roundtable’ chaired by the members of the Advisory Council in China 

After presenting the work and hypothesis that were discussed in interviews and meetings, the members of the Advisory Council will present their conclusions about the representativeness of Spanish products.

11:50am – The Spanish wine diversity and quality

Spanish wine diversity and tendencies in China will be presented by a Master of Wine to the audience

12:20am – Integration of the Spanish gastronomy in China

Gran Meliá Chengdú will explain the value added of having a Spanish restaurant within its hotel. 

12:30am – Networking cocktail

A cocktail by a certified Restaurant from Spain “Gran Vía” will be offered to the audience.
