The fifth edition of the manifestation Spanish Wines in the Heart of the City will take place this year as part of the Belgrade Wine Week festival (September 26th -October 1st).
The central part of this year's Spanish Wine Week will be an OPEN DAY: Spanish Food & Wine Salon, taking place on September 29th in the Hyatt Regency Belgrade hotel. A total of 10 Spanish wineries and food producers will present Spanish classics, complex red wines, famous sparkling cavas, as well as some of the world’s best ham, cheeses, olives and olive oil from Spain.
This event will host only the Horeca professionals, sommeliers, food & beverage managers of the Belgrade restaurant and hotels.

Access for visitors and guests will be free of charge upon invitation.

Spanish Food & Wine Salon
A total of 10 Spanish wineries and food producers will present Spanish classics, complex red wines,fresh white wines, famous sparkling cavas, as well as some of the world’s best ham, cheeses, olives and olive oil from Spain. This event will host only the Horeca professionals, sommeliers, food & beverage managers of the Belgrade restaurant and hotels.

Spanish Tapas Workshop
An educational workshop for young chefs and students of culinary and hospitality schools in which they will learn about the concept of Spanish tapas, as well as a show competition in preparing these tasty bites. Held by: Dr. Bojana Kalenjuk Pivarski (Department of Gastronomy at the University of Novi Sad)

Wine Tasting: The Chosen Ones
Wine workshop held by Ms. Marija Radović, WSET 3 Diploma & ICEX Spanish Wine Specialist will present 7 carefully selected Spanish wines, chosen among the wines participating in the Wine Salon

Getting Familiar With The Spanish Wines
A series of short, educational, and thematic workshops held by the representatives of the Spanish wineries participating at the Wine Salon: the audience will have an opportunity to learn about different grape varieties and their evolution on the Spanish wine scene, get to know about various denominations of origin, etc. with the Spanish wine makers.
The Spanish Wine & Food Salon - Open Day Serbia 2023 is organized by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment and the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Belgrade, to highlight the quality and great variety of foods and wines from Spain currently available in the Serbian market.
The Economic & Commercial Office of Spain in Belgrade and ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, as the official trade promotion body of the Spanish Government in Serbia, develop relations between Spanish companies and Serbian importers and distributors, as well as promote the image of quality and excellence of Foods and Wines.
