The Commercial Office of Spain in Casablanca is organizing an event on Spanish food as part of the plan to promote food and beverages in Morocco that it is developing throughout 2022. This will include the realization of a gastronomic exhibition, as well as the organization of business meetings. The business will encompass the entire food and beverage sector.

Here is what the activity will consist of:

The food exhibition will be a B2B event, which will be held on June 13. This will allow the interaction of Spanish companies with local professionals in the sector and the exhibition of their respective products, as well as the promotion of Spanish gastronomy.

Structure of the event:

  • Tasting of tapas: there will be a tasting of emblematic products and tapas that serve to promote Spanish gastronomy, carefully selected and marketable in the Moroccan market.
  • Show-cooking pastry: the objective is to promote Spanish gastronomy through a pastry show, one of the sectors with the greatest potential in Morocco.
  • Spanish chef: the event will take place in an outdoor space and will include the participation of the Spanish chef Mr. Yosua Siles, from the SiPaella restaurant in Casablanca, for the preparation of tapas and pastry show-cooking.
  • Exhibition of samples: Spanish companies will have space and a table for the exhibition of their products. This will take place in front of local professionals from the food sector, in the same room as the tasting and show-cooking, in order to promote networking and the creation of synergies with visitors.

The business meetings, in the same week as the gastronomic exhibition, will take place through the organization of meetings between Spanish exporting companies and local professionals in the sector. They will take place from June 14 to 16.
