Taste Spain - Spain's largest wine and delicatessen tasting, returns in September!
Spain's trendy vermouths will be showcased, as well as red, rosé and orange wines alongside refreshing whites and Spanish cava! Guests will meet producers from numerous wine regions: Alicante, Utiel-Requena, Costers del Segre, Somontano and Rioja, Priorat, Rueda, Ribera del Duero or Toro. Alongside the wine, visitors of the event will have the opportunity to taste the flavors that that pair with wine perfectly. The best hams and cured meats will be on show, from farms following a special diet (jamón de bellota). There will also be meat alternatives for vegetarians, all seasoned with Spanish pimentón peppers and golden drops of olive oil.
Authenticity, originality, and great taste are the defining features of Spanish products. This is evidenced by the over 400 protected designation of origin products produced in Spain (DOP and IGP). Additionally, many of them are the fruit of organic production. Spain is the European country with the largest agricultural area certified as organic.
In addition, the programme will include masterclasses on wines from Rias Baixas and Cava (registration coming soon), led by Wojciech Bonkowski MW and Marta Ręgowska - Cava Wine Educator respectively.
The Taste Spain 2023 program will include two commented tastings.
