Once again Spanish companies are gearing up for Gulfood. The exhibition will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and it will be enlivened with phenomenal live events. This year Gulfood's signature experiences promise to keep the visitor fully engaged and entertained across the show floor. From fun, social platforms like zen café and street food to more professionally charged learning and networking features like Innovation Summit and the Startup Programme.
This year, as a result of the epidemiologic alert of Covid-19, ICEX participates in the 2021 edition of the Gulfood Exhibition with an Official Pavilion composed of 39 companies that will show their products in the main hall, Foods of the World. Therefore, Fats & Oils, Meat, Drinks and Diary Halls will be integrated in just one Pavilion of 660 m2 with the rest of the Spanish companies.
The brand new Spanish Pavilion, more open, modular and visually astonishing, using transparent separations, will have two different singular spaces: An exhibition area at the institutional stand and an oil tunnel with another exhibition area. Everything will respect all the safety measures demanded by the organization.
Opening with the Gulfood Innovation Summit, it will be a multi-track conference covering consumer trends, product innovation and industry success cases. There will be 3 days of high-level, curated content with the world’s most influential chefs, food scientists, government officials and industry leaders who are at the forefront of innovation to discuss and shape the future of food and gastronomy.
On the other hand, we will have the chance to meet some of the most popular stars in the food and hospitality sector and get inspired by their stories, new projects, and experiments in the Chef Talks Stage, hosted by former BBC Journalist and radio talk show host Dave Crane. He will lead interviews exploring the drive and originality of chefs, Executive Chefs, authors, and other senior professionals.
Following with a range of hands-on learning sessions hosted by leading experts and success-makers, we will get interesting explanations of how to develop & execute innovations in a time of crisis, step methodology for innovation implementation and food safety. All of them related with the moment we are living in the industry.
Finally, Tastes of the World will offer celebrity chefs and live experiences to demonstrate how to make the most of ingredients to make tasty dishes, using innovative food preparation methods while achieving zero waste. Always with a sustainable focus, as sustainability in the F&B industry is evolving from a trend to the only way forward.
