Spain is already known around the world as a top producer of quality extra virgin olive oils, but the recent Evooleum award ceremony and the publication of its 2025 extra virgin olive oil guide further demonstrated the country’s complete dominance of the sector. According to Evooleum, seven of the top ten extra virgin olive oils from Spain.
They were: Dehesa El Molinillo Coratina in first place, made with Coratina olives in Ciudad Real (Castile - La Mancha); Rincón De La Subbética, in second place, made with Hojiblanca olives in Córdoba (Andalusia); LOA 77, in fourth place, made with Hojiblanca and Picual olives in Madrid; Oleum Hispania Nature Premium Pajarera, in sixth place, made with Pajarera olives in Córdoba (Andalusia); Valdenvero Hojiblanco, in seventh place, made with Hojiblanca olives in Ciudad Real (Castile - La Mancha); O.LIVE Ecologic in eighth place, made from Picual olives in Jaén (Andalusia); and Ma’sarah Lecciana in tenth place, made with Lecciana olives in Alicante (Valencian Community).
