Eat Spain Drink Spain Qatar 2025
From October 1st to 15th, 2025, Qatar will embrace the colors and flavors of Spain during the first edition of EAT SPAIN DRINK SPAIN, an initiative by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, as part as Spain Food Nation campaign, in collaboration with the Spanish Commercial Office in Doha and Alimentos de España. This gastronomic festival, designed to celebrate the diversity and quality of Spanish products, aims to connect Qatari food enthusiasts with Spain’s culinary richness-from iconic artisanal halal-certified Spanish embutidos to Manchego cheeses and extra virgin olive oils.
The EAT SPAIN DRINK SPAIN Festival is the first celebration of Spanish gourmet products in Qatar. It features a series of culinary events, live cooking demonstrations, tastings, promotions, and masterclasses throughout Doha's most prestigious venues, including luxury hotels, gourmet stores, and the finest restaurants in The Pearl-Qatar, Katara Cultural Village, Msheireb Downtown, and beyond.
Tailored for both partners (restaurants, distributors) and consumers, the event will feature:
- Themed menus at participating venues like, The Cellar, Lobito de Mar, BiBo Doha and Asador de Aranda, certified with the Restaurants from Spain seal.
- Exclusive tastings in supermarkets and specialty stores, featuring halal-compliant products adapted to local preferences.
- Collaborative events such as live cooking shows by Spanish chefs and guided oil pairings.
The EAT SPAIN DRINK SPAIN 2025 initiative invites restaurants, luxury hotels, gourmet stores, and importers in Qatar to join a transformative gastronomic movement. This year’s edition focuses on Spanish products tailored to Qatari tastes, featuring extra virgin olive oils from Andalucía, protected designation of origin (D.O.P.) cheeses like Artisanal Manchego, premium preserved seafood from the Cantabrian coast, and bomba rice for authentic Valencian paella. Selected partners will gain access to Spain’s most exclusive culinary treasures while adhering to Qatar’s cultural and regulatory standards.
