SPAIN FOOD NATION SUMMIT UK 2024
The Spain Food Nation Summit 2024 will take place on the afternoon of September 9th at Royal Over-Seas League, in Central London, highlighting the quality of Spanish food and wine and boosting trade relations between Spain and the UK.
The Spain Food Nation Summit 2024 follows the meetings of our Advisory Councils for Spanish Foods and Wines. These councils met on the 24th and 25th of June respectively and comprised well-known, leading figures in the wine, food, and gastronomy sectors. About the Event
The Summit will include three ‘round table’ discussions with the members of these Councils, who will discuss how to further UK-Spanish relations and explore the potential for further market growth. In addition, John Valentine of RED Communications will present a summary of the conclusions and recommendations from the two Advisory Councils that he moderated.
John Giles, from Promar International, will present the results from two recent reports commissioned on the UK cheese market, as well as the UK fresh produce market. The full reports will soon be available for download here.
The Economic and Commercial as well as the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food sections of the Spanish Embassy in London will also talk about Spain’s performance in the UK market. The Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food will close the event.
Running alongside the conference, in a separate space within the venue, the event will offer guests to sample exceptional Spanish products from our event sponsors, including Cava de Guarda Superior DO Cava wines, Ibérico products (ASICI) and delicacies from the region of Asturias (ASTUREX).
