What is the Spanish Wine Week about? You may be asking yourself.
The Spanish Wine Week is the most important event regarding Spanish Wines in Ireland. It consists of a series of wine events, tastings, promotions and competitions troughout Ireland’s main locations, such as Dublin, Galway, Cork, etc. Our mission is to show Irish people the great variety, but also quality of the Spanish wines.
In order to do that, in the inaugural Spanish Wine Week in 2016, Wines from Spain created a fascinating programme to educate, inspire and help make people passionate about the impressive variety and diversity of Spanish winemaking regions, grapes, flavours and style. Year after year this series of wine dinners, tastings, discounts, promotions and raffles are growing in number and they spread throughout the whole country.
We closely collaborate with very well known wine specialists, such as Leslie Williams, Tomas Clancy or John Wilson which give many talks about the diversity of Spanish wines, such as Sherry wines, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rias Baixas, Navarra, Rueda and many more.
Following on from the huge success of the last three year’s celebration, Wines from Spain is launching the fourth annual Spanish Wine Week in Ireland, celebrating the impressive diversity of regions and grapes that make up Spanish viniculture.
The SWW19 is taking place on April: from the 8th to the 14th. Designed for wine and food lovers of all levels, there is always an event to suit everyone. From wine masterclasses, to delicious Spanish supper clubs or flamenco classes, Spanish Wine Week brings together like-minded people who want to learn and have some fun.
