What's on: Spain – Wines in Motion
20 Bodegas from six categories
The exhibitors are as exciting as the virtual trade fair platform itself. A total of 20 selected bodegas represent the change in the Spanish wine landscape: starting with still undiscovered newcomers and innovators, through small, fine bodegas with a special portfolio, to bodegas with a varied range of products. For example, wines from Europe's highest vineyard Iñazares or a pair of siblings who have set themselves the goal of cultivating as many DOs in Galicia as possible. Many of the wines on display come from high altitudes and from old vines. Small, fine DOs will also be presented.
The participating wineries will be characterised according to six categories:
- Signature Wines
- Wide Range
- High Altitude
- Small but exquisite
- Innovative
- Organic/Biodynamic/Raw
Meet winemakers in person via simple navigation
All visitors can click their way through the fair in an uncomplicated, intuitive way. Virtual exhibition stands invite visitors to visit. Brochures and technical information on the wines can be viewed and downloaded at the stands. Personal contacts are not missed out either: as with analogue trade fairs, face-to-face appointments can be arranged with the winegrowers in the run-up to the event. During the trade fair, they are available via video chat for personal exchanges and can taste their wines together with the stand visitors. For organisational and logistical reasons, however, face-to-face tasting appointments are reserved for importers and dealers as well as selected wine journalists.
Special technical equipment is not necessary. The platform runs via the web browser. However, it is recommended to use Google Chrome for a smooth processing.
