ANUGA 2023

From October 7th to 11th, 2023, the 37th edition of Anuga, the most relevant food and beverage sector trade fair in the international context, along with SIAL Paris and Alimentaria Barcelona, will be held in Cologne (Germany).

ICEX Trade and Investment is organising a Spanish pavilion with 220 companies participating: 13 in Frozen Food (hall 4.2), 24 in Meat (hall 5.2), 12 in Dairy (hall 10.1) and 171 companies in Fine Food (hall 11.1).

More than 7.800 exhibitors from 118 countries will participate presenting their products and new trends in the agri-food sector. The share of foreign exhibitors is 94%, which indicates its vocation as a trade fair platform focused on the global market. Italy is the country with the largest number of exhibitors (904), followed by China (589), Spain (547), Germany (509) and Turkey (392).

The sectorialisation of the fair around ten differentiated areas grouping exhibitors together makes the visit of the buyers easy and productive. In addition, the presence of high-ranking government officials from around the world underlines the value the global food sector places on the fair, becoming an important platform for dialogue on international agri-food policy.

Anuga is an ideal platform to keep abreast of the latest industry developments and future trends and,  at the same time, the meeting point for global agents of the sector. "Sustainable Growth" is the key theme of Anuga 2023. These and other topics are not only covered in the 10 trade shows, they will particularly be discussed in the scope of Anuga's event and congress programme. Trade fair participants will have at their disposal wide opportunities for networking in various specialized areas of interest.

In the exhibition halls and the digital counterpart of the exhibitors' stands, there are, for example, specialized scenarios specific to each target group, such as the Trend Zone in front of Hall 8., the Start Up Area and the Anuga Taste Innovation Show will take place on the Boulevard. Among other exhibitons areas, the Anuga Organic Supermarkt will be located in front of Hall 5 and the Anuga Halal Market in front of Hall 2.
