Spanish wine has a long history in the Italian market, especially in the northern regions, thanks in part to the good quality-price ratio of Spanish wines in almost all distribution channels, a recognizable style, and the positive image of Spain among Italian consumers.

In particular, the regions of Galicia and the Canary Islands are becoming increasingly popular in Italy. Therefore, it is not surprising that the gastronomy of the area is also interesting to discover. Due to their cooler and more humid climate, the wines are produced with higher acidity and freshness. They are also lighter, floral, and not as opulent in expression. Similarly, the lower sugar content of the grapes translates into wines with lower alcohol content, around 13 degrees. Therefore, through this professional tasting, the aim is to inform participants about the diversity of the Spanish wine regions. Now is the time to get to know the Atlantic wines of Galicia and the Canary Islands better.
