At the 2019 edition, several Spanish companies received accolades. This included Bodega Davide (platinum award) in the luxury – fine fines category; Bodegas Adaras (bronze) in the beverages – wine category; Cinco Jotas (gold), in the luxury – gourmet food category; Nobleza del Sur (bronze) in the food – limited editions category; Madre Monte (silver) in the ready-to-drink beverages category; Osborne (silver) in the luxury – fine wines category; and Jealsa Rianxeira (silver) in the fish – meat – poultry category.
Candidates are evaluated by a panel of judges from around the world who are experts in packaging design and marketing, and they meet to reach “a unanimous decision on which packaging designs will have true universal appeal and should be bestowed with the international Pentawards distinction.”
