The All Ireland Tapas & Pintxo Championships @ IT Tralee

Some exciting news for 2019. The first ever All Ireland Tapas & Pintxo Championships coming to Tralee in April. TasteKerry alongside IT Tralee Culinary Arts, Sua Basque Fusion, Slemish Market Supper Club and the Basque Championship of Pintxo ACYRE Euskadi plan to host the All Ireland Tapas & Pintxo Championships in Tralee early April 2019.

The winner of this competition (All Ireland Champion) will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the World Tapas Championships Valladolid 2019. Most importantly, be part of Team Ireland to compete against the world’s top Chefs. Bringing home the title of World Champion. Therefore we are looking for the country’s top Chefs to compete in Tralee in April.

So, what’s involved? If you feel you can distil your skills and knowledge of local food, flavours and textures into a savoury dish of 3 bites. Have the drive and ambition to represent Ireland at the World Tapas Championships Valladolid 2019 in Spain. Then all you must do is register your interest in taking part here today.

You will receive an application pack containing all the information and support required for you to succeed on the road to All Ireland Champion. Onward to the World Championships and becoming World Champion. Closing Date for receipt of completed application pack is Friday 22nd February @ 5pm.
