Foodies in Asia are licking their lips as the Ritz-Carlton prepares its Stellar Dining Series, now in its second edition. These events, which were extremely well received last year, will be rolled out in September and October and promise to provide guests with a more than stellar experience.
The hotel chain is organizing an impressive line-up with seven chefs and nine Michelin stars in total, to offer extraordinary dining experiences in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Osaka.
This year, Spanish chef Erlantz Gorostiza, from The Ritz-Carlton, Abama, in Tenerife, will be participating for the first time. He will take part alongside another six top-flight chefs, who will showcase some of their most famous dishes as part of collaboration menus, masterclasses, wine pairing dinners, and workshops.
Gorostiza will be at The Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo, participating in a six-hands dinner together with Shintaro Miyazaki, from the hotel in Tokyo, and Cristophe Gilbert, from the hotel in Kyoto. Their menu will be available from September 11th to the 15th at Azure 45. Basque chef Gorostiza “will add his signature Basque flair to Miyazaki and Gilbert’s inspired Japanese-French fare” as part of an eight-course tasting menu. Their creations will be paired with wine, thanks to head sommelier Amari Tamaru.
Gorostiza will also help close out the event, cooking at La Locanda together with chef Shuichi Inoue, offering guests a stellar meal combining Basque and Italian cooking.
