José Andrés to Open His Largest Jaleo, at Walt Disney Resort in Florida

The giant, multi-level tapas restaurant will serve dishes that represent all the region of Spain

The happiest place on earth is about to get even happier, thanks to Spanish chef José Andrés. Until now Disneyworld was most famous for Mickey and Minnie Mouse, but as Spanish food enters the grounds, the chef’s creations will give the famous characters a run for their money.

This December, Andrés will open another outpost of his famous Jaleo restaurant, this time at the Walt Disney Resort in Florida. Accommodating 600 diners, this is the largest Jaleo to date and it will be serving up the delicious tapas for which it has become famous at a spectacular multi-level locale.

Menu highlights include garlic prawns, Ibérico ham, a range of paellas, Ibérico pork, and chicken croquettes. Andrés will aim to use the menu to reflect the diverse dishes that represent Spain, including recipes from all over the country and featuring both traditional and modern creations.

The chef has restaurants throughout the US, from Las Vegas to Puerto Rico and Miami to San Francisco. His Minibar restaurant, in Washington, DC, holds 2 Michelin stars.
