The chefs will highlight some of Spain’s most emblematic flavors at the Wilderness Festival and the Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival

Summer is almost here, and that means that food and music festivals are gearing up all across the UK. There’s no shortage of fantastic events that will highlight different segments of the food industry combined with popular musical guests. And two big events in the UK will see top chefs from Spain participate.

At the Wilderness festival, scheduled from August 1st to the 4th in Oxfordshire’s Cornbury Park, Nieves Barragán, from London’s Barrafina and Sabor restaurants, will be in attendance. She will host an intimate tasting menu as part of The Chef’s Table activities, and this is her first time participating. Her menu will include lardo with anchovies, prawn croquettes, stuffed piquillo pepper with goat’s cheese in tempura, presa iberica with mojo rojo and verde sauces, beetroot salad, and mixed berry tartaleta for dessert. Tickets for this meal are already sold out.

Then, in early fall, the 14th edition of the Aldeburgh Food and Drink festival will get underway, on September 28th and 29th in Suffolk. This is an extremely popular event for foodies, who get to learn all about raw food and organic vegetables. England-based Spanish chef José Pizarro will be participating, as he does just about every year, and bringing the flavors of Spain to this crowded fall festival.
