ISM – Cologne – February 2-5
The first Spanish pavilion of the year will be held at a very sweet place: the ISM trade fair in Cologne, Germany, the world’s most important forum for sweets, pastries and candy. This will be the 49th edition of this annual event, which is exclusively for industry professionals. The exhibitor profile ranges from both big, leading companies in this sector, to medium and small-scale enterprises that are focused on more specialized niches. Together, they attract a large number of important buyers for the world’s sweets industry.
Prodexpo – Moscow – February 10-14
The PRODEXPO trade fair is attended by all of the relevant distributors from Moscow and Saint Petersburg, in addition to serving as the reference for operators from all the other Russian regions, as well as neighboring countries and areas like Belarus, the Ukraine, Armenia and Central Asia. Spanish companies that participate in the Spanish Pavilion organized by Foods & Wines from Spain will have the chance to strengthen or initiate business opportunities in this geographic region.
Gulfood – Dubai – February 16-20
After touring Europe and Central Asia, our next destination is the Middle East where Dubai will be hosting Gulfood. This is an obligatory event for any Spanish company that wishes to expand its activity in this region, as attendees hail from countries in the Persian Gulf / Middle East, as well as from Africa and Southeast Asia.
Salon du Fromage - Paris - February 23-26
Foods and Wines from Spain by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment is organizing the Spanish Pavilion at The Cheese and Dairy Products Show, where Spain will be the 2020 featured country. "By choosing Spain as Guest country of Honour at the 2020 edition, we can shine a light on the country's momentum and the diversity of its production", says Exhibition Manager Céline Glineur. Few countries can presume to have the same richness as Spain in terms of cheeses, which are intimately linked to this country's diverse range of climates, landscapes and native livestock breeds.
Expo West Natural Products – Anaheim (USA) – March 3-7
We now head for the Americas to show off the best of Spanish organic foods and beverages in Anaheim. In 2019 Expo West experienced another record-setting year playing host to more than 86,000 attendees including industry pioneers and a new generation of innovators shaping the future of healthy products.
Foodex – Tokyo – March 10-13
Spanish companies that wish to take on the challenge of conquering Japanese consumers should look no further than the most important trade fair in East Asia, Foodex. This year will mark the 44th edition of this international event dedicated to the food and beverage industry, as well as the 30th consecutive edition that ICEX is organizing an official pavilion here. It is important to point out that this fair not only targets Japanese consumers, but also provides an ideal showcase for Spanish companies that wish to enter into other markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prowein – Düsseldorf (Germany) – March 15-17
Along with Vinexpo in Bordeaux, Prowein is without a doubt the most important wine fair on the “Old Continent.” See and taste a selection of 100 important Spanish wines in one place over a three-day period. Could anything be more enticing for a wine-lover? This is one of the attractions offered by the Spanish Pavilion at the ProWein Trade Fair in Düsseldorf from next March 15-17.
CFDF China Food & Drinks Fair - Chengdu (China) – March 22-28
China is no doubt one of the most attractive Asian markets for Spanish food and beverage companies, particularly those in the frozen fish and seafood sectors, as well as processed foods, confectionery, baby food, fruit preserves and beef. Spanish companies will profit its participation at CFDF China Food & Drinks Fair.
Expo Antad Alimentaria – Guadalajara (Mexico) – March 31- April 2
We now head for the Americas to show off the best of Spanish foods and beverages in Guadalajara, Mexico. This year will mark the 4th edition of EXPO ANTAD & Alimentaria Mexico, which together have become the international business platform for the food and beverage industry in Mexico, the rest of Central America and, by extension, South America.
ProWine Asia - Singapore - March 31- April 2
Part of the ProWein World Series of leading wines and spirits trade fairs, the 3rd edition of ProWine Asia (Singapore) returns with a trade-focused platform for international wine producers to tap on the growth prospects of Southeast Asia and reach out to key importers, distributors and suppliers.

SIAL Canadá - Montreal - April 15-17
Spanish companies are heading to Toronto for Canada SIAL, a major food fair for the agri-food market in North America. ICEX Spain Trade and Investment and the Spanish Embassy’s Economic and Commercial Office in Toronto will sponsor the official Spanish pavilion.
Vinitaly - Verona - April 19-22
A very special wine event is coming up next April in Italy. Vinitaly will be held from April 19 th to the 22nd in Verona. More than 4,200 exhibitors are expected to participate, showcasing their products to an audience comprised mainly of trade professionals from every segment of the industry.
NRA Show - Chicago - May 16-19
Spanish companies and producers are in the spotlight in Chicago at the 2020 National Restaurant Association Show, held from May 16th to the 19th at McCormick Place. ICEX and Foods & Wines from Spain are responsible for organizing the participation of Spanish companies, which will showcase their products in a special area of the event.
Vyno Dienos Vilnius - Vilna - May 22-25
This wine exhibition is the biggest wine and spirits event in the Baltic States, where professionals meet professionals and final consumers. Wine and spirits producers, international importers, gourmet representatives, companies that make glass and wine accessories for two days may enjoy a company and attention of more than 4000 visitors that are closely related and are interested in the presented products.
Asia Fruit Logistica - Hong Kong - September 23-25

The Spanish Pavilion has another very important date this month in this Southeast Asian metropolis: Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits. Given the magnitude of this event and the volume of visitors, this trade fair is considered one of the most important ones in its sector in Asia, providing an important showcase for the present and future of wine in Asian markets.
ProWine China - Shanghai – November 10-12
ProWine is held in parallel to Food & Hotel China, and it puts the finishing touch on the calendar of official Spanish Pavilions organized by Foods & Wines from Spain in 2020. The exhibited wines represent virtually every wine region in the world, while the large number of foreign visitors from all over the globe lends ProWine a clearly international character.
