Foodies and industry professionals are loving Netflix’s series “Chef’s Table.” The popular show will be back for its fifth season, which kicks off on September 28th and offers a close-up look at “the sugary world of pastry,” according to grubstreet.com.
Created by David Gelb, this “Emmy-nominated series [highlights] culinary stars around the world who are redefining gourmet food with innovative dishes and tantalizing desserts.”
In a previous edition of the series, Spanish chef Jordi Roca was featured. Roca told the story of his journey to becoming a stellar pastry chef and his creative transformation at the famous restaurant he runs with his two bothers, El Celler de Can Roca.
On the fifth season of the series, “Chef’s Table” will feature Albert Adrià. Adrià will likely talk about his growth as a pastry chef at elBulli, where he worked alongside his famous brother Ferran. Albert went on to build a small empire of restaurants in Barcelona, among them Bodega 1900, Tickets, Enigma, El Barri and Pakta.
