The Basque Culinary Center (BCC) has added a new Master’s program to its course list. The Master’s in Food and Beverage (F&B) Management will be available as from January of 2019.
The program will help students become experts in the food and beverage industry and give them the knowledge to lead and organize any food and beverage department in a hotel environment. They will learn how to uphold the highest standards of quality and service and maximize the hotel’s gastronomic benefits.
With increasing competition in the hotel industry and the need to create value for customers, a hotel’s food and beverage strategy must be innovative and in line with market trends and business models. As a result, hotels are looking to hire professional managers who understand the business and have the skills to leverage the hotel’s gastronomic potential.
Students of the BCC’s program will have to complete a final project, and they will have advisors at their disposal throughout the process. They will also participate in internships at leading national and international hotels, and there will be master classes and prestigious guests from Spain and beyond, who will share their expertise with the future hotel F&B managers.
