Málaga Gastronomy Festival Returns in 2018

From May 24–27th, the Andalusian city of Málaga is reveling in cuisine as the fifth edition of the Málaga Gastronomy Festival takes place in this gorgeous coastal city.

Food, wine and culture, what could be better than that? The organizers of the 2018 edition of the Málaga Gastronomy Festival would probably say nothing, and most would tend to agree.
 
This annual festival combines a wide range of gastronomic events that include presentations by well-known Spanish chefs, in addition to culinary workshops, product exhibitions, cooking demonstrations and more; interspersed with concerts, tasting events, dance performances and other activities, all providing something for every appetite.

The focus of course will be on cuisine, with a particularly large participation of Basque chefs like Xabier Zabaleta of Restaurante Aratz in Ibaeta (San Sebastián), given that the guest region this year is Euskadi (Basque Country).  

Products will also take center stage, with the focus on local delicacies like extra virgin olive oils, mangoes, avocados, table olives, sardines, goat's milk cheeses, and of course the wonderful wines from this region.
