Rodrigo de la Calle Opens “Paella” in Mercado San Miguel

The recently-outlined commitment of what is arguably Madrid’s most well-known (and certainly it’s first) gastronomic market, the Mercado San Miguel, to bringing in projects led by Michelin-starred Spanish chefs got a notch in its belt this week with the opening of “Paella” by Madrid-based chef Rodrigo de la Calle.

Visitors to the market can choose from a range of different portion sizes, and a selection of paellas and fideua (made with small noodles instead of rice) that might vary from day today, but that will never waver when it comes to quality ingredients and authentic preparation.

And visitors to this new locale shouldn't forget that this is no ordinary paella stand, but rather one created by a Michelin-starred chef who is known for his excellent skill with rice dishes (among many other things).
