About the event
The Spanish Food and Wine Week is the main and biggest event on Spanish wine and food for customers in the Republic of Ireland. It consists of a series of wine and food events, workshops, tastings, promotions, and competitions throughout Ireland’s main locations, such as Dublin, Cork, Galway, Wicklow, Kerry, Kildare, Mayo and many more.
Our mission is simple: we want to show a fascinating programme to educate, inspire and showcase the impressive variety and diversity of Spanish winemaking regions, foods and flavours.
How do we achieve this? In 2016 we came up with this idea of organising a week where many venues and stores in Ireland could offer Spanish wine tastings, pairings, promotions, and discounts to their customers. The first edition turned out to be a great success, so we decided to keep working on this formula, in which all the stakeholders in the Irish wine sector are now involved: from small independent stores to large off-licence chains, or the best restaurants in the country, the main wine importers, media and wine critics.Food and wine retailers, bars and restaurants can take part in the nationwide campaign to promote the very best of Spanish products.
