Spanish Extravaganza is the gastronomic and wine event of the year in Mexico City, aimed at professionals in the Food Industry. This exhibition will take place October 14th, 2021, at the Salón Virreyes, Hotel Camino Real Polanco.

 

33 companies (Spanish wineries and food companies, and Mexican companies importing Spanish products) will participate in this exhibition, offering a wide variety of gourmet products and beverages (wines, beer, cider, liquors) that guests will have the opportunity to taste and enjoy  during the event.

 

This exhibition is part of the Culinary Show, Spanish Extravaganza, which will be held in the restaurants of the Hotel Camino Real Polanco from October 14th to the 17th. Four distinguished Spanish chefs will travel  from Spain to prepare the menus for this show. Michelin star Chef, Ignacio Solana, Michelin star Chef Miguel Barrera Barrachina, Paella Master, Jordi Gimeno Benito and Tapas Master, Agen Urigüen will create dishes and menus with the best of Spanish products that can be found in Mexico.

Wine Tastings and Culinary Workshop

 

During the exhibition, there will be two wine tastings and a culinary workshop where Mexican professionals will have the opportunity to get to know better all these new products coming to the market.

 

Both wine tastings, each with six new wines from wineries looking for distribution in Mexico,  will be given by the master wine-taster, Jesús Díez. The first tasting will be held from 12:30-13:30 and the second, from 15:30-16:30. In “More info” please find information about the wines, the cellars and about Jesús Díez, wine expert and enthusiast. 

 

The Culinary workshop will be given by Master Alejandro Paadín, which will entertain and show us the nutritional and gastronomic values of some of the most prestigious foods from Spain (olive oil, Iberic Ham and cheeses, among others). In this workshop, Michelin star Chef Ignacio Solana will prepare several dishes using these amazing ingredients, showing the incredible and delicious opportunity they present for the gourmand.

 

This event is a celebration to the excellence and richness of Spanish gastronomy and wines, a unique opportunity not to be missed.
