100 Montaditos is all about internationalization, and most recently the Spanish company opened its first locale in France, giving French consumers the chance to enjoy its delicious Spanish-style sandwiches. The flagship brand of Grupo Restalia now has an operational locale in Lyon.
The objective of this new restaurant is to offer the very best of Spanish gastronomy, and the menu will aim to reflect the flavors of northern, southern, eastern and western Spain. It will also serve Spanish tapas such as Ibérico ham shoulder, fried squid and everyone’s favorite, paella. Customers will be able to enjoy its exclusive Monty Rolls, as well as smoked salmon, sweet chorizo and Spanish omelet sandwiches. This locale will also offer a larger format sandwich selection, measuring 16 cm, that represents the flavors of Spain’s biggest cities: Madrid, Granada, Barcelona, and Seville, among others. A section of the menu will be dedicated to vegetarians, too. The danger here is that customers will be overwhelmed with so many delicious options to choose from. There will be sangria on offer as well as a selection of Spanish wines, and the restaurant’s popular beer bucket option, which consists of a bucket and five small bottles of beer, will also be on the menu.
100 Montaditos first opened its doors back in 2000 in Huelva, southern Spain, “as an all-new, simple, easy-to-operate concept with very Spanish ingredients and a great variety as well as a fun way to order.” Today it operates in 11 countries, including Paraguay, Costa Rica, the US, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Italy, Portugal and Guatemala.
