San Francisco recently welcomed a powerful duo of chefs, working together to offer guests an unforgettable experience. On February 5th and 6th, Ángel León and Dominique Crenn teamed up at Atelier Crenn to offer a very special culinary evening.
The initiative is called Crenn World Chef Series, and between November 2018 and May 2019, nine chefs will participate. She chose the participating chefs based on their unique style and culinary ideas, and each event features a tasting menu comprising several dishes. The experience costs $450.
This is the first time that León and Crenn have teamed up to offer a four-hands meal. León holds three Michelin stars for his Aponiente restaurant, while Crenn also boasts three Michelin stars. She was also named Best Female Chef in the World by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants back in 2016.
The two dinners they offered brought together León’s passion for the sea and fish, which combined seamlessly with Crenn’s “poetic cuisine.” What’s more, both are staunch proponents of sustainability and the use of local products, which was visible in their cooking.
