Omar Allibhoy Opens New Tapas Revolution Restaurant in Westfield Stratford

 The new restaurant features a cava bar, offering 24 different bottle options and 5 by the glass, plus “Press for Cava” buttons in VIP booths


Omar Allibhoy has taken a new step towards dominating the world tapas market by opening up yet another Tapas Revolution outpost, this time in Westfield Stratford. In essence, he’s making a return to East London, where it all began. The chef opened his very first Tapas Revolution restaurant in Shoreditch, and then went on to open 7 more locales nationwide, in Westfield London, Sheffield, Bluewater, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bath, and Windsor.

Highlights from the menu at this new restaurant, which accommodates 100 and offers indoor and outdoor seating, include beef and pork meatballs with a tomato and vegetable sofrito sauce, Galician-style octopus, tiger prawns with garlic and chili oil, baked chorizo sausage with potatoes and free range eggs, pan-roasted cod with red peppers and green olive salsa verde, and slow-roasted Ibérico pork shank. There is also be a wide range of traditional paellas, from seafood to vegetable and traditional Valencian-style to black rice.

This new Tapas Revolution is sure to impress customers over with its cava bar, and it will serve 24 different cavas by the bottle and 5 by the glass. In the very special VIP bodega booths, there’s even a “Press for Cava” button.
