A new online schools is hoping to make every Spanish food fan into experts at making tapas. Tapas Academy, created by Ibérico Club, has created a one-of-a-kind video platform with short 30-second videos that show users exactly how to make their favorite tapas dishes. With new recipes added every week, these step-by-step tutorials aim to raise the profile of tapas and show people how easy it is to welcome the delicious flavors of Spain into their homes.
The videos also have recommendations and tips, and perhaps the most interesting feature is that viewers can click one button and have the ingredients delivered to their homes anywhere in the United States. Video recipes include white asparagus toast with olive spread and acorn-fed Ibérico ham, tuna belly with fire roasted piquillo peppers, scrambled eggs with Ibérico chorizo toast, Majorero goat cheese toast with black fig spread, Navarra asparagus with mayonnaise, honeydew with acorn-fed Ibérico ham, and Cantabrian anchovies with pan tumaca. Viewers can also upload their own videos and share them with the community.
The Ibérico Club aims to boost the popularity of Spanish food among US consumers and it sells gourmet products imported from Spain.
