In the province of Almería, in the municipalities of  Alcudia de Monteagud, Benitagla, Benizalón, Castro de Filabres, Lubrín, Lucainena de las Torres, Olula de Castro, Senés, Sorbas, Tabernas, Tahal, Turrillas, Uleila del Campo and Velefique.

Average altitude: 525 m over sea level. Climate, typical of a desert area, is characterized by hot days and fresh nights.

Wines produced are white (min 10% vol), rosé (min 11% vol) and red (min 12% vol), young and aged.

White varieties approved: Chardonnay, Moscatel, Macabeo and Sauvignon Blanc.

Red varieties approved: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Monastrell, Merlot, Syrah and Garnacha.

Maximum crop is 10,000 kg/ha (yield 70%).
