In the province of Cádiz, in the municipalities of Arcos de la Frontera, Chiclana de la Frontera, Chipiona, El Puerto de Santa María, Jerez de la Frontera, Prado del Rey, Puerto Real, Rota, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Trebujena, Olvera, Setenil, Villamartín, Bornos and San José del Valle.

Wines produced are red (min 12% vol), rosé (min 11% vol) and white (min 11% vol). Wines can be dry (max sugar 4g/l), semi-dry (sugar 4-12 g/l), semi-sweet (sugar 12-45 g/l) and sweet (min sugar 45 g/l)

White grapes approved: Garrido Fino, Palomino, Chardonnay, Moscatel de Alejandría, Montúa (Chelva), Perruno, Macabeo, Sauvignon Blanc, Pedro Ximénez, Riesling and Verdejo.

Red grapes approved: Tempranillo, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Garnacha, Monastrell, Merlot, Tintilla de Rota, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Mollar Cano and Graciano.
