Belgian consumers with a penchant for Spanish food have reason to celebrate! Delhaize Belgium’s “Food of the World” department will be featuring flavors from across the globe. This popular food retailer has a special section dedicated to foreign foods, and it has added several products from El Corte Inglés.
Specifically, Delhaize will be carrying emblematic products from Spain such as turrón from Alicante, horchata (a milk-like drink made from tiger nuts), Bomba rice, picos de Jerez breadsticks, lentils, fabada bean stew, roasted sunflower seeds, stuffed peppers, and olives. This section will also feature products from the UK and Italy.
El Corte Inglés has a strong commitment to internationalization and its products are currently available in Mexico, Cuba and Peru, thanks to special alliances with Palacio de Hierro and Soriana, Farmavenda, and Intercorp, respectively.
In Europe, El Corte Inglés sells its food products in Switzerland and the UK, and in the Middle East it can be found in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. It also has a presence in China.
