Tasting online / Webminar "DOP RIAS BAIXAS: The diversity of the Albariño styles as a reflection of the different terroirs"

by David Schwarzwälder, connoisseur of the Spanish wines and wine scene, who will present highlights of the diversity of Albariño styles as a reflection of the different sub-regions of the Rías Baixas. Starting with soft, flowery Albariños from the border with Portugal, through acidic, crisp Cambados from the limestone-dominated Atlantic coast, to continental and structured Albariños from the interior. The webinar will be accompanied by an exemplary selection of six wines to be tasted.

07.06.2021 17:00-18:00

Tasting online / Webminar "DOP Yecla - Spain's mediterranean organic wine paradise presented by David Schwarzwälder"

David Schawarzwälder presents in this webminar various organic wines from the southeastern Spanish apellation, which show that the efforts of the Yecla PDO to develop into a region dominated by organic viticulture were spot on. The prevailing conditions are optimal. The Monastrell grape variety, which dominates the region, is extremely adaptable and frugal in view of the extremely warm, rough and barren highlands of the Yecla PDO. Characteristics that, by the way, should also make it the perfect wine partner for climate change. The webinar will be accompanied by an exemplary selection with six wines to be tasted.
